A talent agency founded by Coventry-born entrepreneur Liam Brown has won Boutique Talent Agency of the Year at the ITV bCreator Awards in London, according to a release issued on behalf of the business.

The 26-year-old founded Redē Talent two years ago. He attended primary school in Coventry before moving to Warwick, where he studied at Myton School, and later went to Stratford-upon-Avon College.

The agency represents creators and television personalities, including Melissa Suffield, who is known online as The Confident Mama.

The awards ceremony took place in London on Thursday 8 October. The event recognises content creators, agencies and brand campaigns.

Brown said the recognition reflected the work involved in building an agency which puts its talent first. He said running the business had challenged him in ways he had not expected.

“I genuinely don’t think I will get over it,” he said in the supplied announcement.

He described hearing the agency’s name announced among established businesses as a milestone for his team.

The business says it is on track for seven-figure turnover this year. That is its own forecast, rather than a confirmed annual result.
